Interview on the Allan Handelman Show

My thanks to Allan Handelman and the WZTK-FM audience -- I had a wonderful time talking toys with all of you this afternoon. I know we couldn't answer everyone's questions on-air, so if you'd like some help identifying the value of one of your toys, just post a Comment below and I'll do my best to get you some additional information.

  1. That was a great show Karen. I have two items I'm trying to get info about their value. One was the 7 foot long GI Joe aircraft carrier the USS FLAGG that I think came out in 83 or 84. It's probably my most prized of my GI Joe toys that is all in tact and my mom had kept it for me all these years.

My other toy or really a science kit is a Tasco microscope kit that came in a wooden case along with various slides and bottle of things like different powders, a bottle of brine shrimp eggs (some hatched over the years). The mircrocope is metal and has a light as well as a mirror for focusing the light and the date of the kit is 1974. Any help would be great.
